Le LLACAN accueille actuellement Tekabe Legesse Feleke, un doctorant de l’Université de Vérone et boursier du Labex EFL pendant trois mois (octobre à décembre 2019). Topic: A Combined Approach towards Measuring Linguistic Distance: A Study on South Ethiosemitic Languages
Description: My research project examines the linguistic distance among selected south Ethiosemitic languages – specifically the Gurage varieties. It investigates the linguistic distance among the languages from three perspectives: structural, functional and perceptual. It also explores the linguistic and extra-linguistic factors that contribute to the distance among the languages.
